Island Academy Offers Adventure & Education at Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa

Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa has launched an all-new kid's programme, Island Academy. For kids aged 5 – 12, Island Academy offers tailored adventures and active experiences, rotating on a weekly basis, with an emphasis on exploration, adventure, and education. Activities are inspired by the Creole culture of the Seychelles and the natural wonders of Silhouette Island.

This fantastic new kid's programme has been introduced to allow kids to try something new from the traditional 'kids club' activities and truly experience the beautiful island of Silhouette, learning about local culture, language, food, dancing, and the nature of the Seychelles. Exploring the island plays a central role in the activities on offer each week, with nature hikes, tortoise feeding, ray spotting and fishing to name just a few of the 3-4 daily classes.

Island Academy is facilitated by Emma and Elvis Mothee's Elite Dance & Fitness Studio Seychelles. Based on Mahé, Elite Dance & Fitness Studio is a company of dancers, fitness enthusiasts and gymnasts who are committed to spreading the joy and benefits of their passions. The carefully developed educational classes on offer will help build self-esteem and allow kids to learn about the arts in a fostering, yet challenging environment where they can learn and grow as creative thinkers and artists.

Activities on offer include Creole lingo lessons, tug of war, mini chef classes, plant trail hiking, ray spotting, scavenger hunts, Creole dancing, handline fishing, Yoga, organic gardening, mocktail making and beach clean ups, plus plenty more. Each day will also include time for supervised games and outdoor activities; either on the beach, by the pool, or in the spectacular gardens of Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa.

Island Academy at Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa invites kids ages 5 – 12 to immerse themselves in the world of Silhouette Island, to develop their love for dance, gymnastics, and fitness, while learning about the nature, beauty, and culture of the Seychelles.
