A security deposit is taken in case of damage, loss or theft of the boat if it is being rented without crew. The cancellation terms are at the discretion of individual owners but the exact terms are made clear on each boat listing page so customers are advised to check this thoroughly before booking. SamBoat also offers Covid Cancellation insurance at a cost of 4% of the total booking (minimum €20) so that if the renter or anyone in their party gets Covid and the hire must be cancelled, they will receive a full refund.
