
Blenheim Palace will be alive to the thunder of hooves and the clash of lances on shields at it hosts the Knights of Middle England's Jousting Tournament from May 29th-31st.
Visitors will be transported to the glorious jousting matches of Britain's past, as knights in shining armour take to the field on their noble steeds in a momentous display of bravery and skill against the spectacular backdrop of Britain's greatest palace.
Colourful banners flying in the wind, the sound of thundering hooves along the ground with the clash of lance upon shield. The Knights of Middle England take you back to the exciting and colourful era of the Middle Ages with their action packed, high octane Jousting and Stunt Show.
With over 20 years' experience in live stunt shows, equestrian displays and activity days The Knights of Middle England are a professional team of stunt riders, performers, actors and combatants who bring the much-fabled sport of Jousting full tilt into the 21st Century.
The Blenheim estate is no stranger to genuine jousting tournaments. In 1389 John, Earl of Pembroke, was killed in a jousting accident while a Christmas guest at the old Woodstock royal palace.
Visitors also have the opportunity to convert their day ticket into a free Annual Pass.

EVENT GUIDELINES:
Due to the COVID restrictions and government guidance it will be slightly different to previous years but the same great day out.
To ensure we met the capacity guidelines for outdoor events and to keep all our guest and staff safe we will have additional safety measures including socially distanced spaced 'pods' marked on the ground, reduced capacity and pre-booking of tickets is essential. We are finalising the event plan and will communicate the safety guidelines before the event including capacity in the arena areas and the number of shows to make the event safe for all.
Across the site you will be asked to sanitise your hands and there will be locations where face coverings are mandatory. Our food outlets will also meet our usual high standards and will be COVID Secure and following the government guidance for hospitality. There will be members of staff to ensure compliance with the onsite COVID measures.
Our safety and event planning will be monitored in line with the current government guidance as there maybe changes prior to the event date, and this will be communicated to all ticket holders.
