Treasure Trails

Burn off some chocolate-fuelled energy this Easter on a hunt with a healthy difference!

Treasure Trails provide a unique, socially-distanced way to get outside and keep kids – and adults – active and entertained during the Easter holiday.

These themed self-guided walking Trail booklets (only £9.99 each) take adventurers on a circular outdoor route of approximately two miles.

Instead of finding chocolate eggs, you'll be hunting down clues as part of a series of puzzling mysteries – and have the chance to win real treasure!

Choose from a Detective Mystery, Treasure Hunt, or Spy Mission. The clues you're looking for are waiting to be found on local landmarks, signs, statues, monuments, images, engravings, and other eye-catching features.

For those still in need of their choccy fix, there are even chocolate-themed Trails, including the Bourneville Sparkling Chocolate Trail in Birmingham and the York Chocolate & Sweet Trail in the UK's home of chocolate, which starts in The Shambles, includes a stop at the famous sweet museum, and unwraps amazing stories behind Terry's, Rowntree and other kings of confectionery.

The Trails are so engrossing that even the most reluctant exerciser won't realise they've walked two miles by the end of it!

“Our ethos at Treasure Trails is to encourage people to get outside in the fresh air, have fun, and get some exercise while discovering new things about the wonderful places on our doorsteps,” said Aaron Hutchens, General Manager of Treasure Trails.

Explorers who get all the correct answers to the clues can then enter themselves into the £100 Treasure Trails monthly prize draw, and for those that complete a Trail this Easter weekend, they'll also be in with a chance of winning one of three prizes of chocolate delights from Funky Hampers!

There are more than 1,200 Treasure Trails to choose from across the UK, with locations varying from cities and towns to villages and rural areas.

Ordering a Treasure Trail is contactless; simply choose your local spot, decide on a theme and order the trail online at www.treasuretrails.co.uk.

You can either download it as a PDF and print it out at home, or get the printed booklet posted to you directly.
