HF HOLIDAYS LAUNCHES NEW GOTALEDEN GUIDED TRAIL FOR 2021
A SPECTACULAR CONTRAST OF WEST SWEDEN'S NATURE, WILDERNESS AND DEEP FORESTS AND THE VIBRANT CITY AND GASTRONOMY OF GOTHENBURG, IN ONE LONG WEEKEND.
HF Holidays are pleased to announce the launch of a brand-new destination and trail to their European collection of walking and activity holidays. This latest addition is a 4-night walking break to West Sweden, exploring the best stretches of the Gotaleden Trail and the country's second largest town, Gothenburg.
This short break cleverly shows off Sweden's sustainable tourism at its best, with sustainability at the heart of the experience from transport, micro-breweries, food, and accommodation. HF Holidays have hand-picked three family run hotels along the route, each providing a unique take on several inspiring eco approaches.
The itinerary has also been designed to capture the many highlights this region has to offer, with two full days of walking, guests can experience nature in its purest form, including the Säveån nature reserve: a silent haven, home to native birds, beavers and spectacular trees and fauna.
In contrast, there is also plenty of time to indulge in Sweden's famed food scene with meals at an award-winning restaurant and celebrated microbrewery. A final walking tour of Gothenburg with a local guide, makes this the perfect combination of walking holiday and city break.
