Christian Schweitzer Joins TravTrade as Strategic Partnerships Manager

TravTrade, a TravMedia company, is pleased to announce Christian Schweitzer's appointment as the new Strategic Partnerships Manager for Australia and New Zealand.

Schweitzer has more than 20 years of commercial experience in sales, marketing, management, publishing and customer service, most recently as the first General Manager of Business Publishing Group. The group includes leading publications Travel Daily, travelBulletin, Cruise Weekly and Business Events News.

Prior to that, Schweitzer served as Head of Marketing for tour and river cruise wholesaler,  Globus family of brands. During his tenure, the company won its first National Travel Industry Award for Best Tour Operator International.

Previous roles span retail consultancy for UK based Bridge the World Travel, research & product development for Odyssey Travel and B2B marketing for C.S. Advertising in London.

As General Manager Business Publishing Group, Christian spearheaded the company's growth and expansion to record levels.

He holds an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management and a Master of Strategic Marketing from the University of Wollongong.
