The countdown to Christmas is on! Get outside and into the festive mood with seven illuminated light trails choreographed to music in stunning locations across the UK – from historic stately homes to beautiful botanical gardens.

Designed for visitors of all ages to enjoy, My Christmas Trails are a unique way of celebrating the  festive season outdoors. Wrap up warm and be transported into a winter fairy-tale, surrounded by millions of twinkling lights, glowing flowers, colourful trees and amazing illuminated installations.

It takes between 1-2 hours to complete the magical mile-long trails in each location, with artworks by international and UK-based artists featuring across the seven routes, all choreographed to a soundtrack of Christmas classics, with selfie opportunities around every corner.  

Amid all the festive fun don't forget to look out for Father Christmas along the way.

All seven illuminated trails have been awarded the 'We're Good to Go' industry-standard mark, which recognises government and industry COVID-19 guidelines are being followed by the organisations.

CHRISTMAS AT KEW

18 November 2020 – 3 January 2021

Returning for its eighth year, Kew's sell-out light trail is back with old favourites and brand-new installations, once again bringing a feast of art, light and music to London's festive calendar. With over one million lights illuminating the magnificent botanical gardens this year, visitors can expect bursts of colour as they explore Kew's iconic landscape.

CHRISTMAS AT BLENHEIM PALACE

20 November 2020 – 3 January 2021

A jewel in the festive calendar crown, Blenheim's Illuminated Trail is inspired by the majesty of its surroundings. Unique for 2020 the historic façade will be aglow with lights dancing to a seasonal soundtrack. Wander under magical tree canopies decorated with stars and baubles.  New installations this year include Triangulate, Heart of Stars as well as the return of firm favourites, the Field of Light and the Fire Garden. CHRISTMAS AT DUNHAM MASSEY

20 November – 30 December 2020

This will be the fourth year of the sell-out trail at this historic National Trust property. Wander beside colour-changing lakeside reflections and under silvery shards of light, baubles and stars. Giant snowflakes will create an aerial kaleidoscope over the gardens, while the crystal and fire garden glows with hundreds of flickering flames. Last few remaining tickets available – book soon!

CHRISTMAS AT THE BOTANICS

Back for another year, this Edinburgh trail welcomes visitors to a botanical wintry wonderland. See bouncing lines of light in the laser garden and giant luminescent sculptures rising high into the night sky. Meanwhile, Inverleith House will once again spring to life with a new festive projection across its historic façade.
