The Swan, Newby Bridge is now taking bookings for Christmas and New Year's Eve.

As the whirlwind of 2020 is coming to an end there's no better way to finish off the year than an extra special Christmas celebration. The Swan offers a selection of room and suite styles suited to preferences and needs, so there's the perfect room for everyone. From Cosy Rooms and Lovely Rooms perfect for two, to Fabulous Rooms for guests who may want to bring their four-legged friend, or a variety of spacious Lofts.  B&B rates start from £189 for Christmas Day.

A spectacular three-course Christmas Lunch will be served, 'Winner, Winner, Christmas Dinner', from £75 per head*, and £25 for children 11 and under. Delicious seasonal starter options include Roasted Pumpkin Ravioli with sage pesto and nutmeg, and Smoked Duck Terrine with pear, celeriac and brioche. A classic Christmas lunch, Roast Turkey with sausage, sage and onion stuffing and served with all the trimmings. Pescatarian and vegetarian options are also available - Salmon Wellington or Wild Mushroom, Chestnut and Cranberry Tart. Finish off with classic Christmas pudding and brandy sauce or another sweet alternative. The restaurant will not be open in the evening, but residents can enjoy food in the cosy bar area or enjoy room service.

The Swan will be ringing in the new year with a fabulous New Year's Eve Dinner. Adults and children are welcome with a three-course menu available for both - adults £80 per head and children £30 per head. For those looking to stay over, bed and breakfast rates start from £266**, inclusive of a breakfast to cure your hangover.
