Natasha Rajput is the founder of T's Fried Scoop, a newly launched fried ice cream business in London.

The business owner created her new venture whilst working from her parents shed, which she converted into a kitchen.

Natasha created the fried ice cream recipe herself, so it is unlike anything tasted before in the UK.

Natasha Rajput is Brick Lane's newest entrepreneur. Natasha has been working to create London's next dessert trend over the last year and was able to launch her business in July.

This was a huge achievement, as the Founder has been residing in her parents council home in London and made the most out of the money and resources that were available to her.

Natasha has a stall in Brick Lane's Truman Brewery, which is open every Saturday and Sunday. The Founder is determined to continue growing her business, as Natasha's next goal is to buy a machine to make her own ice cream. Although, this equipment can be very expensive.

The dessert trend is fried ice cream but it's unlike anything England has ever seen before. The ice cream is inspired by a blend of Mexican and Japanese desserts. Natasha describes it as “a hot, fried crust, coated in breadcrumbs, cornflakes or Oreos, wrapped around a decadent ice cream”.

Natasha Rajput, the Founder and fried ice cream enthusiast, commented, “My work ethic is a huge part of who I am. I became so obsessed with this dessert concept that I began practicing and practicing, using lots of methods from various cultures. I did not let my limited budget stop me from pursuing my business ambitions, so I am currently relying on universal credit. I believe that my business will go from strength to strength, which is what drives me every day.”

T's Fried Scoop now serves their own caramel and chocolate sauces, created by Natasha. As Natasha is committed to making her desserts inclusive, the desserts are entirely vegetarian and kosher.

The Founder has also been busy working on a vegan version, vegan matcha, which T's Fried Scoop will be trialing. Natasha is also looking to add vegan chocolate and vanilla to the menu.

About T's Fried Scoop
T's Fried Scoop are located in the Truman Brewery Upmarket every Saturday from 11am-6pm and every Sunday from 10am-6pm. The fried ice cream is inspired by similar South Indian, Mexican and Japanese desserts but this is a totally unique recipe, and experience.
