Crystalbrook Collection Appoints Megan Knoetze to Lead Human Resources and Staff Development

Crystalbrook Collection, one of Australia's leading sustainable hospitality companies, has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of Megan Knoetze as Group Director, People and Culture.

Knoetze will join the company on 27 July as a key member of the Group's Executive Leadership Team.
Over the past two decades Knoetze has led the cultural and operational transformation for a number of dynamic hospitality organisations – most notably Pan Pacific Hotels Group, where she was Area Director HR, Oceania for over six years.

Through roles at Trippas White Group, Sodexho and Select Service Partner UK/Ireland, Knoetze will bring to the role a wealth of experience in Human Resource management in hospitality and tourism.

Most recently Knoetze was employed by Mulpha's Hotel Operations division and worked the across the portfolio managed by IHG; Inter-Continental Sydney, Sanctuary Cove and Hayman Island.

At Crystalbrook, Knoetze will be responsible for leading the ongoing development and delivery of its group-wide HR strategy aligned to the organisation's core values.

She will oversee the Workplace Health and Safety policy, systems and processes and also implement key change management strategies and services that optimise staff development to differentiate Crystalbrook as the employee of choice within the hospitality industry.

A key aspect of the role will be to develop a positive culture that fosters accountability, innovation and drives overall business performance to support Crystalbrook's growth plans, including potential hotel acquisitions.

Mindfully Safe

Mindfully Safe was launched by Crystalbrook Collection in response to Covid-19. The programme focuses on reducing travel anxiety by providing mindfulness and meditation tools developed in partnership with mental-wellbeing group The Indigo Project. Crystalbrook will also donate $5 to mental support service Beyond Blue for every stay booked directly until the end of 2020. Mindfully Safe also incorporates cash-free transactions and heightened deep-cleaning hygiene measures.
