Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Port Douglas Set to Unveil Refurbished Poolside Swim Up Bar, the Lagoon House

July 2020 - Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Port Douglas is set to unveil a new stylishly refurbished poolside and swim up bar, the Lagoon House. Located in the heart of the resort and set amongst two hectares of sparkling blue lagoons and surrounding palm trees, Lagoon House is set to embrace the breathtaking setting of its tropical destination.

Scheduled to open in July 2020, the $1 million development provides a stylish and sophisticated Far North Queensland experience. Featuring light, earthly tones with the use of natural materials, the bar fits seamlessly within its idyllic surroundings, setting a scene and creating those perfect Instagram worthy moments.

Guests are invited to feast on the chef designed fresh bites menu, featuring local seafood and modern Australian cuisine. To accompany this are a range of local and international beers along with classic poolside cocktails, all designed to ease you further into the obvious aesthetics of your surroundings. Relax and order from your poolside cabana, sun lounger, or simply take the unique chance to swim-up and order from the bar.

The Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Port Douglas first opened its doors in 1987 as the most sought after 5-star resort in Australia and has since continued to attract the who's who of celebrities, social influencers and dignitaries from around the globe. Since completing a $43 million refurbishment in 2016, the property has continued to enhance its product and welcome major events.
