It will be soon possible to travel to France! If you are looking for a peaceful holiday, Savoie Mont Blanc is the place to go. Covering two thirds of the French Alps, Savoie Mont Blanc is known for its mountains, but it also has four great lakes (Lake Annecy, Lake Bourget, Lake Geneva and Lake Aiguebelette) which are ideal for swimming and watersports in the summer as their water have an average temperature of 25 degrees.
There are many beautiful and remote places to stay in Savoie Mont Blanc – here are a few suggestions.
New hotel: L'Incomparable
Overlooking Lake Bourget, the largest natural lake in France, l'Incomparable is a historic building that has been transformed into a luxury hotel. It boasts 11 rooms and four suites, a wellness area with a pool, a Jacuzzi, a steam room and treatment rooms. The hotel also has an outdoor pool and tennis courts. Guest houses and gites
New for 2020 - Located near Lake Aiguebelette, Chateau de Saint-Genix is a superb grand house from 1897. Its four bedrooms have been renovated in a baroque chic style, mixing old and modern. The chateau has a large and beautiful garden.
New for 2020: Les O d'Annecy is a beautiful grand house in Saint-Jorioz, above Lake Annecy. The new owners have completely refurnished it and have also erected a second building. Les O d'Annecy has five spacious bedrooms (four double and a family suite), all with views of the lake, as well as a spa with a Jacuzzi, a sauna, an indoor swimming pool and a relaxing lounge suspended in the trees.
New for 2020 - In Thollon-Les-Mémises, a small resort above Lake Geneva, an old farm has been renovated to create a gîte for six people, complete with a wine bar (cave a vin). Tree houses
Located between Megève and La Clusaz, Cabanes Entre Terre et Ciel (meaning 'huts between earth and sky') is a fun place to stay and enjoy nature. Choose between three styles of hut:
- Cabane Nid is built like a nest and has a 30-metre-square roof terrace, which is nine metres high and offers breathtaking views of Mont Blanc.
- Cabane Mont-Blanc is a luxury tree house with a spa and sauna.

Spend a night in a bubble
