With the popular Kings Park Dawn Service not taking place this year; Pan Pacific Perth will join with Activate Perth, East Perth Community Inc and West Perth Local, to commemorate ANZAC day this weekend. The rooftop of the hotel will be one of nine locations around the city where buglers will play both the Last Post and Reveille in unison for local residents to hear from their balconies and driveways at 6am on Saturday 25th April. It is hoped that the community will use the torch of their mobile phones as a beacon of light for our ANZAC heroes.

Anzac Day holds such a special place in so many people's hearts says hotel General Manager Rob Weeden who is humbled that the hotel has been has to participate.  “It's wonderful that even during such a time of adversity and isolation that we are still able to come together as a community to pay our respects to our returned and fallen Service men and women.”

The hotel will also be running a poppy decorating competition for its youngest guests.  Traditional bacon and egg rolls will be served to guests along with a house-made Anzac biscuit for afternoon tea.  Local early risers can also enjoy a bacon and egg roll from our Hill Street BBQ.
