Ultimate Winery Experiences of Australia

Pt. Leo Estate on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula is the latest Australian winery to join the Ultimate Winery Experiences Australia ('UWEA') collection.  The striking estate on the Westernport-side of the Peninsula is home to a Cellar Door and Wine Terrace, three different dining options and a Sculpture Park overlooking a 50-acre vineyard and glimpses of Phillip Island.

Kate Shilling, Executive Officer of UWEA says:

“Pt. Leo Estate is the perfect fit for UWEA at this stage of its evolution. Alongside its neighbour, longstanding UWEA member Montalto, Pt. Leo will continue to build on its already excellent visitor experience, attracting visitors from further afield to this beautiful part of Victoria.”

Onsite, visitors can explore the striking Cellar Door and Wine Terrace at one end of the main building and 'Laura', Pt. Leo Estate's renowned fine dining restaurant, at the other, a dining experience that lies at the heart of this world-class venue.

Pt. Leo Estate Sculpture Park is a 16-acre outdoor gallery housing over 60 large format Australian and International works of art that owners John and Pauline Gandel have been collecting over many years. Valued at near $70million, the park is the largest privately-owned Sculpture Park in Australia and sits with only a handful of similar outdoor galleries across the globe.

Pt. Leo Estate offers three different culinary experiences. From the intimate two-hatted restaurant, Laura, or the bistro-style one-hatted Pt. Leo Estate Restaurant, to the all-weather Wine Terrace and Cellar Door., dining at Pt. Leo Estate is a celebration of regional produce and craftsmanship.

General Manager, Roger Lancia, says of joining UWEA:

“We are very excited to join a collective that celebrates and enhances the individual strengths of so many esteemed Australian brands.  We are immensely proud of the success we have achieved since opening two years ago and look forward to joining forces in continuing to develop an exceptional and innovative tourism offering.”

Ultimate Winery Experiences now available at Pt. Leo Estate include:

This Two Chef's Hat restaurant is voted number 7 in Australia's top 100 Restaurants, one of only three standalone restaurants to be part of Relais and Chateau and celebrates the award of Australia's 'Hottest' Wine Program 2020.  Lunch is followed by petit fours and refreshments whilst strolling through the world class, 16 Acre Sculpture Park showcasing over 70 local and international works.
