Paws at the Palace

All About Dogs is celebrating its 10th anniversary with its biggest ever show at Blenheim Palace this summer (4th-5th July).

The UK's largest and fastest growing festival devoted to dogs and their owners is bringing its unique brand of family-friendly canine fun and games to the Oxfordshire UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Packed with everything dog-related, Paws at the Palace includes arena displays, dog training experts, have-a-go activities, breed clubs and loads of fun competitions where visitors' dogs can win a rosette.

Among the show's highlights will be K9 Aqua Sports, scentwork for dogs, hurdles and lure racing, obedience classes, trick training and special appearances by canine stars the Watermill Wolves who have featured in everything from Vikings and Penny Dreadful to Ripper Street and Horrible Histories.

From fun dog show classes for everything from the cutest pup and favourite rescue to best fancy dress and waggiest tail, to talent shows for gifted pooches, Paws at the Palace will be a joyous celebration of man's best friend.

World class arena displays showcase the extraordinary skills and bonds of both the dogs and their handlers and there's the chance to chat with renowned dog experts at the Village Green.

There will also be a huge range of products on offer and dog-brands represented, with around 150 exhibitors selling everything from leads, pet food and treats, diet & health advice, toys, health supplements, coats, grooming products, photography and much more.

Meet the Breeds' sessions provide a fascinating insight into the individual characteristics, requirements and personalities of different breeds and there are a host of rescue centres, owners, charities and clubs on hand to answer questions.

The anticipated 20,000 visitors will also be able to enjoy 'walkies' in the stunning surroundings of Blenheim's 'Capability' Brown landscaped grounds and gardens, home to amazing backdrops including the finest view in England.

For the first time this year All About Dogs is also running special dog first aid courses offering potentially life-saving advice including canine CPR and how to treat heat stroke.
