Affectionately referred to as the Group's social butterfly, Crystalbrook Collection's $180 million hotel, Flynn, has begun taking bookings ahead of its 31 March opening in Cairns.

Flynn is the Group's fifth hotel and like its personality-led sibling properties, Flynn is a passionate environmentalist, committed to sustainability and what Crystalbrook Collection terms Responsible Luxury*.

Explaining Flynn's unique personality traits, Geoff York, Interim CEO and Group Director, Hotels said: “Flynn has what we describe as a magnetic personality, people are drawn to the positive energy. Flynn is vibrant, full of life, loves good food and entertainment and likes to be in the heart of the action.”

Cairns Area Manager and Flynn General Manager Joel Gordon added: “Building Flynn's energetic personality began before we broke ground. Part of the brief to the architect was to build a hotel that people wanted to photograph and be photographed in.”

Situated on the Cairns Esplanade boardwalk, Flynn features two suitably-social glass pools looking out over the Coral Sea,  311 stylish rooms and suites, three levels of restaurants and bars, Eléme Day Spa, a 24-hour gym and meeting spaces for up to 120 people.

The hotel's ground-level restaurant, Boardwalk Social, opened last weekend and is already proving a hit, cementing its place as the stomping ground for locals and tourists alike.
