Elegant Hotels Group rounds up 2019 with the launch of five exciting new experiences. From Tamarind becoming a gastronomic all-inclusive property in Barbados, to a new Elemental Herbology Spa at Colony Club, to an exclusive pre-school partnership with My 1st Years, a money-can-buy luxury experience at The Landings in St Lucia, plus the launch of the group's first Bajan cookbook, Taste.

Colony Club spa relaunches featuring Elemental Herbology

Situated on the Platinum West Coast of Barbados, Colony Club has revamped and reopened its intimate spa in November 2019, incorporating UK beauty brand Elemental Herbology's products and philosophy throughout the tranquil new-look space. Based on traditional Chinese medicine, Elemental Herbology follows a Five Element theory, which matches individuals to an element – wood, fire, earth, metal and water – to give balance to body, mind and skin. The new spa brings the feel of Colony Club's lush gardens inside, with foliage murals, tumbling vegetation and exposed stonework, harnessing the healing benefits of nature. The renovated spa features two expertly designed private treatment rooms, including a couples' space, manicure and pedicure stations, and an outdoor patio and serene lounge for guests to relax in before and after their treatments.

Treatments at the Colony Club Spa start from £82. The spa is open every day except Monday, between 10am – 6pm. Guests can book treatments at the reception, call (+246) 432-2393 or email colonyspa@eleganthotels.com
