The trip begins with a loop ride around Killarney National Park, home to the 15th century Muckross Abbey and the 19th century Muckross House, before riding the foothills of Ireland's highest mountain, Carrantuohill.

Designed to provide an introduction to the Italian Alps with more manageable daily rides, Saddle Skedaddle's brand new, guided road cycling holiday is perfect for cyclists looking to stretch their skills in the saddle.
Starting with some relatively small climbs at Passo dei Tre Termini (681m) and Cocca di Lodrino (735m), the route moves into the beautiful Alpi Orobie, passing through open fields and pine forests to reach the summit of Passo della Presolana (1,297m).
Other highlights of the eight-day trip include tackling one of professional cycling's most infamous ascents, Passo di Mortirolo (1,852m) and an optional climb to Lago delle Scale via 17 hairpin bends known locally as Little Stelvio.
