Facilimate have grown their Australian Hotel portfolio to seven, with their investor base purchasing The Seasons Newman Hotel, adding momentum to becoming Australia's fastest growing owned and operated Hotel Group.

Seasons Hotel Newman has 89 accommodation rooms, with a restaurant, bar, outdoor swimming pool, conference facilities and guest parking. Located 1,000km North of Perth on the Great Northern Highway, the Hotel's position in the prosperous mining town of Newman stimulates corporate travel and provides a gateway to Karijini National Park for leisure travel.

Managing Director Stephen Lauder reflects on the alignment and investment strategy. “Securing attractively priced hotels in key cities and regions with strong demand for corporate and leisure travel allows our team to execute our distinctive refurbishment and centralised sales, marketing and revenue strategy. Each hotel is then reintroduced to the market in a favourable position for the benefit of our guests and investors.”  

The sale of the Seasons was negotiated by CBRE Hotels Ryan McGinnity and Chloe Mason on behalf of seller Stephen Grace. “Having owned and operated the hotel for close to 20 years, it seemed the right time for the sellers to pass on the asset to an expanding group like Facilimate heading into the next decade” Mr McGinnity said. Ms Mason added that “Facilimate's purchase of the Seasons Hotel is a fantastic investment into the Northwest of WA which is set to benefit greatly with a rebounding resources sector.”
