After a four-month renovation, Heritage C Beach Club in Mauritius has now re-opened in the heart of the Heritage Bel Ombre estate. With its cosy and welcoming new spaces, its exceptional culinary offer, new gin bar and extensive rosé wine cellar, it is a welcome new addition to the south coast of Mauritius.
C Beach Club is open to guests of Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Wellness Resort, Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort and Heritage The Villas, free of charge. *External guests can purchase day passes to enjoy the facilities.
With its Dolce Vita-inspired beach lifestyle concept, it offers a stylish yet understated setting, day and night. You can soak up the sun on the gorgeous beach; take part in water activities on the pristine lagoon; enjoy a sought-after musical line-up; shop in the boutiques; and indulge your palate with dishes concocted before your very eyes and subtly-flavoured drinks, be it novel gin cocktails or rosés from around the world.
An exotic-chic atmosphere - Designer Paule de Romeuf has created a soft, warm décor for Heritage C Beach Club, with an emphasis on natural materials (thatch, wood, rattan, ravenala, pandanus) and lush vegetation. The spaces have been redesigned with a focus on the sea: steps from the pool, a new lounge area offers gorgeous ocean views. The restaurants and bars are decorated in a modern yet local style, while the beach offers greater privacy, with different areas screened off by vegetation and made cosy thanks to the soft light of lanterns in the trees above. The colour scheme is delicate: whites, light wood, beige, and a variety of blues inspired by the pool and lagoon.
A unique lifestyle concept - The trendy and epicurean Heritage C Beach Club is an exceptional seaside experience. Here, you'll enjoy a musical ambiance that evolves throughout the day, in a spacious and authentic oasis that consists of both welcoming open spaces and cosier areas. Whatever your age and interests, it's a place to enjoy with your toes in the sand as you gaze out into the blue.
A creative, sun-kissed cuisine - A delicious menu infused with Mediterranean flavours and featuring fresh products is available all day, from breakfast until dinner. Specialities include honey and wild rice cockerel a la plancha, gnocchi alla romana, mascarpone pizza, salmon-guacamole focaccia, fruit salad with chorizo.
Bars that pull out all the stops - While the Coast Beach Bar offers delicious smoothies and local rum and wine-based cocktails to savour on the beach, gin lovers will appreciate finding their favourite brand at the Chill Gin Bar. Its wide range of gins from around the world and its selection of fresh ingredients are an invitation to mix a bespoke cocktail. With tonic, smoky or classic... the choice is yours.
As for the Calanca wine cellar, wine aficionados will delight in its selection of more than 700 bottles from the world's best terroirs – it's the only wine cellar in Mauritius to offer a wine menu consisting of 80% of rosé wines from around the world.
Sports activities - The Cabana boathouse is open every day and offers a wide range of leisure and nautical equipment: windsurfers, lasers, kayaks, pedal boats, Stand Up Paddle (SUP), snorkelling and even glass-bottomed boats. Pool fitness classes are also held daily in the late morning. Heritage C Beach partners with a kitesurfing school, Kite-Globing, and a diving centre, both of which are located on site.
A holiday at your own rhythm - Heritage C Beach Club boasts an eclectic musical offer, with different types of music played from 7am until 2am, creating a different mood for each time of day.

Michel Frédric, General Manager of Heritage C Beach Club says: “Heritage C Beach Club needed a refresh. We therefore redesigned its various spaces, reorienting them towards the ocean while making them lighter and airier, and ensuring they flowed together harmoniously. The use of natural materials gives the Club a Zen quality and helps it blend into its environment. The beach itself is being revegetated and has been hung with beautiful lanterns for a magical effect after dark.
We wanted to keep the space "casual-chic”, with a trendy and epicurean feel. Heritage C Beach Club is a place where you should feel at home, and in which you can enjoy both great service and lots of space.”
When it came to our culinary offer, we wanted to offer Mediterranean-inspired cuisine out of open and interactive kitchens, in keeping with the spirit of the space. The Cyan restaurant's various areas are arranged around workshops that offer tapas, pasta, salads... the dishes available change throughout the day. These workshops allow us to reduce food waste and offer refined and gourmet dishes of a very high quality. We also proudly use more and more fresh produce from the vegetable garden at Heritage Bel Ombre.”
