PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (September 17, 2019)—Gardner Hospitality Group (GHG), founded by Palm Springs Chef and Restaurateur Chad Gardner, has hired public relations and marketing firm McCue PR to launch the opening of its new restaurant, Roly China Fusion; increase the visibility of its existing hospitality concepts; and consult on strategic marketing communications. 

Roly China Fusion, a bar and restaurant opening October 1, will offer traditional Chinese cuisine with a modern twist by Chef DJ Cheek, formerly of TAO Los Angeles and TAO Las Vegas. Chef Yolanda Cheek, an experienced dim sum chef and wife to Chef DJ, will prepare a Dim Sum Happy Hour as well as a Weekend Dim Sum Brunch. The opening is much-anticipated by the local community, many of whom have expressed the need for expanded Chinese dining options in Palm Springs.

Inspired by Gardner's husband Roly, an artist who created all of the art within the restaurant, Roly China Fusion will be a vibrant, whimsical and refined dining experience. The space holds 150 guests and includes a pet-friendly patio with a street-facing buddy bar, a main dining room, a lounge that will occasionally feature a live DJ and a private dining room featuring a Chef's Table, where up to 12 guests can taste Chef DJ's most exquisite offerings. 

Gardner, who is a member of the James Beard Foundation with over 20 years of fine dining hospitality experience, says, “It has been a longtime dream of mine to open Roly China Fusion. I've been overwhelmed by the response from my Palm Springs community thus far and I cannot wait to see it come to fruition.”

The GHG portfolio currently includes Dash & a Handful, a full-service events and catering company, and 533 Viet Fusion, a locals' favorite fast-casual restaurant located in a strip mall across the street from Palm Springs' popular Saguaro hotel.
