InterContinental Hong Kong is collaborating with POLA, the prestigious skincare brand from Japan, for its new afternoon tea set inspired by POLA's newest products, “White Shot LX” and “White Shot MX”. The tea set theme of “The Promise” refers to your promise to look after yourself and POLA's promise to bring beauty transformation to women's skin with its highly specialised whitening products.

Enjoy the beauty, brightness and translucence of summer over an afternoon tea set for the senses – with stunning harbourview views, delicious tastes and rejuvenating POLA skin products.

POLA's custom-made linear “White Shot” afternoon tea stand is inspired by kinetic art, with curves connecting the spaces between the squares to symbolise the explosive energy in the concept of “Energy Brightening”.  

Inspired by POLA's vision for “whitening” and “translucence” and the company's Japanese heritage, Executive Chef Maxime Luvara and Executive Pastry Chef Christian Gonthier have used Japanese produce to create the savoury and sweet delicacies incorporating POLA's white theme along with an iconic bright red dessert emblematic of the POLA White Shot logo.

The tea set is served with Plain and Raisin Scones, served with Clotted Cream,
Earl Grey Tea Jelly and Rose & Strawberry Jam and a selection of Mariage Frère teas.

For an additional HK$60+10% service charge, guests can enjoy “Promise for Myself”, a refreshing ginger beer drink with raspberry syrup, green apple syrup and fresh lemon juice.
