Not for profit organisation, the UCPA, has launched a number of special offers during June 2019 with over 10% off the normal price – making what is already a great value holiday even more financially accessible.

Although the company is well-known for its ski and summer based mountain activity holidays, many UK based travellers don't realise that sports including golf and tennis also feature heavily in the program, in centres mostly based on the French Atlantic and Mediterranean coast.

The UCPA Centre in Lacanau, close to the city of Bordeaux and right on the Atlantic coast, offers a number of summer activity based holidays and has a special offer for first time golfers throughout June. Prices start at £450 per person (up to £469) including 6 nights full-board accommodation, 8 sessions of golf instruction through the week, golf clubs and evening entertainment.

Accommodation is in a multi-share room of 4 people with twin rooms available with a supplement of £46 per person.

The par 27, 9 hole course (Golf du Baganais) is suitable for beginners and includes a driving range, putting green and chipping area and is located within a pine tree environment close to the sea.

Travel: flights and transfers are not included in the cost. EasyJet fly from London Gatwick to Bordeaux with prices starting at around £35 per person one-way. The UCPA centre can be reached by taxi from the airport or by bus from Bordeaux Saint-Jean Railway Station which can be reached via a shuttle service.
