Simon Shopping Destinations, the largest collection of shopping destinations in the United States, has kicked off 2019 with the addition of new exciting shops and brands to many of its properties – including Louis Vuitton Men's, Karl Lagerfeld Paris, Alex and Ani and H&M. Beyond shopping, a new partnership between Marriott International and Simon Shopping Destinations will see the launch of five brand new hotels adjacent to key shopping centres over the next few years; and “Hollywood trainer” Jeanette Jenkins has created free fitness walks that can be experienced at some centres this month. With over 100 properties all over the country, make sure to pay a visit to one of them next time you are in the US!
Town Center at Boca Raton® completes a multimillion-dollar renovation
Town Center at Boca Raton®, one of south Florida's top luxury shopping destinations, has recently completed a multimillion-dollar renovation that has seen the introduction of new lifestyle shops, including Italian lingerie brand, Intimissimi; pearl jewellery store, Yvel; and Brazilian swimsuit brand, Cia.Maritima. Also new to the mall is the first Florida outlet of Dance with Me, the fun dance studio created by Maks & Val Chmerkovskiy, from 'Dancing with the Stars' (the US version of Strictly Come Dancing). Other improvements as a result of the renovation include a new luxury boutique entrance with valet parking, the installation of LED lighting throughout the mall and new and brighter ceilings and flooring.
Offering more than 220 designer stores and specialty shops, Town Center at Boca Raton® is the only place in the US where visitors can shop six department stores in one centre – Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy's, Bloomingdale's and Sears.

Sawgrass Mills® adds new exclusive stores and will open an AC Hotel by Marriott
Sawgrass Mills®, the largest outlet and value retail shopping destination in the US, has recently added new and exclusive retailers to its more than 350 stores. Some of these new names include jewellery and accessory brand, Alex and Ani (first outlet location in Florida); girls' clothing shop, Monnalisa (first outlet location worldwide); footwear and apparel brand, Ariat (first outlet location on the East Coast) and bath and soap specialist, Nectar Bath Treats (first store on the East Coast).
Sawgrass Mills® has also announced that it will welcome AC Hotel by Marriott in 2020 - the first of the brand in Broward County. The property will boast around 170 rooms and will be perched next to the shopping centre – a convenient location for those who want to enjoy great shopping while staying in the Fort Lauderdale area. The AC Hotel by Marriott is one of the five Marriott-branded hotels that will open at Simon Shopping Destination centres over the next few years as part of an agreement between the two companies.

Free fitness walks at Fashion Valley
The Apple store at Fashion Valley (San Diego) is offering free health and fitness walks throughout the month of February. Co-created by celebrity fitness expert, Jeanette Jenkins (known as the “Hollywood trainer”), attendees will have the opportunity to learn how to reach attainable goals, track their progress and establish fun and healthy habits to stay motivated. The one-hour walks are free of charge and can be booked online. The next sessions will be taking place on 21st and 22nd February at Fashion Valley.
Fashion Valley, located in Mission Valle, is one of Southern California's trendiest shopping destinations, offering more than 200 designer and name-brand stores.
