On Friday 8 February 2019, The Foreign and Commonwealth Office relaxed its advice against all but non-essential travel to Nicaragua which had been in place since April 22 2018.
Specialist tour operator Journey Latin America welcomes the latest advice and is delighted to announce the re-introduction of Nicaragua to its range of tailor-made holidays and escorted group tours.
Stuart Whittington, Head of Product at Journey Latin America comments, “Nicaragua's landscape of lakes and volcanoes, lush rainforest and palm-fringed beaches makes it a nature lover's paradise. A return to tourism is a positive step and will bring much-needed respite to the local economy.”
Journey Latin America is in the process of conducting a complete review of all the services they offer in Nicaragua including hotels, transfers, car hire and excursions.
