TravMedia's Influencer Conference, Marketplace & Awards comes to the QEII Centre London, 26 March 2019
Matthew Kepnes, operator of the award-winning budget travel website Nomadic Matt, was today announced as headline speaker for sit-UP, TravMedia's breakthrough event connecting the travel industry with influencers.
Kepnes has been cited as the world's leading travel blogger (source: The World's Top Travel Blogs for 2019) and is best-selling author of How to Travel the World on $50 a Day. His tips and expertise have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, CNN, National Geographic, BBC, The Guardian, and The New York Times.
Kepnes' appearance climaxes the conference element of the sit-UP day, prior to the afternoon's Travel Influencer Marketplace, a networking event connecting over 100 influencers with leading travel and tourism brands.
sit-UP takes place on Tuesday 26 March 2019 at the QEII Centre in Westminster, London. The event's conference and marketplace are followed by an evening after-party featuring a brand-new awards ceremony for influencers and travel brands.
Among the event's other high-profile conference speakers are Alex Hunter (Attaché) the former global Head of Online for Virgin Group; Emma Mead, VisitBritain; Philip Trippenbach, Edelman; Sumandeep Sohi, Advertising Standards Authority (ASA); David Reilly (Life of Reilly); Julie Falconer (A Lady in London); Karen Beddow (MiniTravellers); Paul Johnson (A Luxury Travel Blog), and Sian Lewis (The Girl Outdoors).

sit-Up happens the day after TravMedia's IMM – also at the QEII – the market-leading event connecting the travel industry with the media, also created by TravMedia UK.
Demand for IMM has been equally strong with exhibition space almost sold out and 200 media already registered.
