Australian adventure travel tour operator Tucan Travel are on an award-winning streak. On 28 November they won five awards at the prestigious 2018 British Travel Awards. As part of the small business category, Tucan Travel took home the following:

Best holiday company to Central & South America -  First place gold win

Best holiday company to Central & Northern Europe - First place gold win

Best Singles holiday company - Silver place

Best holiday company to Africa -Silver place

Best holiday company to East & Southeast Europe  -Silver place

The announcement was made at a glamorous Gala Awards ceremony, held in London, UK and attended by more than 800 travel industry people. This followed on from their achievements a month ago at the World Travel Awards where they won South America's Leading Green Tour Operator. Tucan Travel also won South America's Leading Tour Operator in the World Travel Awards 2017.

Tucan Travel have been operating small group tours since 1987 and are still independently-owned by CEO Matt Gannan from Rockhampton, Queensland. He was quoted “We are absolutely thrilled to have won five awards in this year's British Travel Awards.
