We're in the midst of Black Friday mayhem once again; a day where retailers take the opportunity to sell stock they don't want to people who don't need it.

Much Better Adventures wanted to do something different, and use Black Friday to give back to the planet while helping adventure-hungry travellers fill their calendar with new experiences.

For every adventure that is booked between 12am on Friday 23rd and 12pm on Sunday 25th (GMT), they will donate to save 40 primary rainforest trees through their partner charity Cool Earth. Those trees lock in 40 tonnes of carbon per booking - equivalent to what is generated in 20 return flights between UK and Australia. They also give all new customers £25 off their first booking.

Alex Narracott, founder, said "while grabbing a saving on something you need is always good, some of the figures about the amount of items bought over Black Friday and never used are staggering. We've always believed that experiences are more valuable than things, and travel has the power to be a force for good in this world. So we're using Black Friday to re-inforce that message - instead of heavy discounting, we're putting the money where we believe it will have more long term impact."
