Condé Nast Traveler announced the results of its 31st annual Readers' Choice Awards with a total of seven Greater Palm Springs hotels and resorts making the list. Additionally, the destination was named one of the top 15 “The Best Small Cities in the U.S.” The Kimpton Rowan garnered the #1 ranking as “Top Hotel in Southern California” and L'Horizon Resort & Spa taking honors as “Top Resorts in Southern California” and #4 for “Best Resorts in the World.”

In the category of “The Best Small Cities in the U.S.” Palm Springs, CA made the top 15, recognizing its retro-chic history and exciting new restaurants. Readers highlighted that Greater Palm Springs is one of Southern California's cultural hot spots with antique shops, galleries and Sunnylands in Rancho Mirage. Joshua Tree National Park was recognized for hiking and stargazing. Both Two Bunch Palms Spa Resort in Desert Hot Springs and L'Horizon Resort & Spa were highlighted for luxury experiences.
