Because the Summer Doesn't Have to End

You may have visited a beach in the UK or even Europe over the summer, but nothing beats the dreamy beaches of the Seychelles with its perpetual summer! With the archipelago's copious options of stunning beaches, you are likely wondering which to choose. Read on to discover our top picks of the world's best slices of paradise.

Anse Lazio: Strong Contender Amongst World's Top Ten Beaches

Often listed among the world's top ten beaches, Anse Lazio is a bucket-list beach not to be missed. The long winding yet scenic drive from Côte d'Or to visit Praslin's most famous beach is really worth it.

Picture-perfect Anse Lazio is framed by idyllic granite rock formations and has soft porcelain white sands. Its calm, warm turquoise waters and gentle gradient make it ideal for swimming and snorkelling.

There are small shops and a handful of restaurants at each end of the beach as well a curious bar called the Honesty Bar, where instead of table service customers can help themselves and just pay at the end.

Anse Source d'Argent: Instagram-famous and Most Photographed

Anse Source d'Argent is arguably the Seychelles' most Instagrammable beach. With its aquamarine ocean lapping the pristine white sand against a backdrop of huge chiselled granite boulders and lush palm trees, it is no wonder it's one of the most photographed beaches in the world!

As the sea is sheltered by the reef it is extremely calm and shallow, and with only sand underfoot, Anse Source d'Argent is an ideal place for families with children.

A restaurant, toilets, and parking are all located near the entrance to the beach. A number of fruit stands can be found at the far end.

Beau Vallon Bay: The Ultimate Boredom Buster

Beau Vallon adds the perfect contrast to the mix. In perspective of most Seychelles beaches, Beau Vallon is on the larger side and is ideally located to explore Mahe island. You can walk to Morne Seychellois national park or easily explore the capital.

The main highlight of Beau Vallon is the great variety of activities. From kitesurfing to fishing and scuba diving to enjoying some nightlife, you won't run out of options! There aren't many other bays in the Seychelles that are as vibrant as Beau Vallon, so it is definitely a 'must-visit' for anyone.

As well as extensive rental opportunities for most imaginable water sports, Beau Vallon has plenty of local restaurants and bars. It's worth visiting just before the evening to see the incredible sun set over the water. For those looking to end their beach day with a bash, Gran Kaz casino and bar are just a stone throw away from the shores.
