Flambards Theme Park is inviting people to celebrate National Rollercoaster Day on Thursday, August 16th by taking a ride on the UK's most southerly rollercoaster.
The Hornet is a steel family twister rollercoaster which reaches speeds of up to 40km/h.
Passengers sit side by side in individual cars as they travel above the park on the curving 400-metre track.
It is the perfect first real roller coaster experience for youngsters as it's a family ride suitable for accompanied children from 90 cms.
Flambards fun mix of rides, indoor attractions and entertainment makes it the perfect destination for an unforgettable family day out.
Feel the G-Force on the new 'Sky-Force' ride. Whizzing high above the Park, this adrenaline-packed ride is guaranteed fun for thrill-seekers.

Originating in America, Roller Coaster Day was first celebrated in the 1980s. The origins of the celebration are not completely clear, however, the most widely believed explanation is the date was chosen to mark the anniversary, in 1898, when the original patent for a roller coaster ride was first issued.
