The Sarojin

The Sarojin, Thailand's luxurious 56-roomed boutique residence, has enhanced its adventure experiences with a brand-new Thai island safari. Adding to the hotel's jungle, nature and cultural adventures, the Koh Prathong Island Safari helps guests explore the unspoilt natural beauty of Khao Lak's surrounding areas and offers a chance to spot the increasingly rare Lesser Adjutant bird.

Departing The Sarojin in the early hours of the morning to offer the best chance of seeing the Lesser Adjutant, the safari takes guests on a boat over to the island of Koh Prathong to explore its beautiful landscapes. Starting off with a short trek guests can discover the hundreds of species of birds, insects, fauna and flora that call the island home, including the grey-headed fish eagle, vernal hanging parrot and red-breasted parakeet.

After enjoying breakfast at a local homestay, guests continue to explore the island by a local tak-tak car, taking in the undisturbed beauty of Koh Prathong's mangrove-lined seas and thick natural savannahs, for a truly memorable safari adventure.

For those wanting to continue exploring the natural beauty of The Sarojin's surrounding area, the residence offers a range of excursions, from elephant and jungle canoe safaris in Khao Sok and pleat boat trips through Little Amazon to trekking through the local jungles.

Offering some traditional adrenaline adventures are The Sarojin's zip-lining and bamboo rafting experiences through Khao Lak Lamru National Park and the Tonepariwat Wildlife Sanctuary excursion, which sees guests explore the pristine tropical forest with all-terrain-vehicle rides and white water rafting.

Satisfying the increasing desire of travellers for cultural adventures is The Sarojin's long-standing authentic Glimpse of Local Life tour. From exploring the local ancient town of Takuapa to providing alms offerings to local Buddhist monks and discovering the daily lives of local mahouts and fisherman, each of The Sarojin's cultural adventures provide an authentic insight into Khao Lak life while supporting the local community.

Whether its jungle, nature, adrenaline or cultural adventures guests are seeking, The Sarojin has the perfect experience for an unforgettable authentic Thai holiday.
