This July, Novotel Wollongong Northbeach presents Beachside Ice Skating 2018. The family friendly hotel will see their Novotel Wollongong Northbeach terrace, transformed into a winter wonderland, complete with an open-air ice skating rink.

To bring the ice skating rink to life, the team at Novotel Wollongong Northbeach will be working with ice skating rink experts and pumping thousands of liters of water into a custom-made ice rink mold - all on the hotel's terrace! Mixing in sugar and spice and everything nice and leaving to freeze, the team will return just three days later to the completed magical winter wonderland that is Beachside Ice Skating 2018!

Guests, locals and visitors of all ages are invited to don their winter woollies, strap on a pair of skates to take advantage of the crisp weather and glide across the ice.  Budding figure skaters, ice hockey champs and newbies alike will enjoy this unique winter experience in the unexpected location of Wollongong.

Once you've skated your heart out, you'll be nothing short of astounded when you jump off the ice and head to the delectable sidelines. The 'Winter Wonderland' menu is available ringside, complete with crazy shakes, mouthwatering toasties, pristine popcorn and homemade treats straight from the pastry kitchen. Plus, for the big kids there's a sensational selection of Winter Warmer cocktails!  

The Beachside Ice Skating 2018 season runs from 7th July – 22nd July 2018. Sessions will take place from midday through to 7pm Sunday to Thursday, with two additional sessions for the big kids (over 18s only) on Friday and Saturday nights from 8pm. The big kids are free to boogie on the ice with live music, DJs and cocktail bar!

Tickets*, including skate hire, are $19.50 for adults and teens (over 14 years), $15 for children (5-13 years), and $10 for toddlers (2-4 years, must be accompanied by a paying adult). Take the whole family and save with a family pass priced at just $55.00 for two adults and two kids.
