Guests at the 4*+ Valamar Argosy Hotel will be greeted with a completely new look this summer, following extensive renovations and expansion of the property based 15 minutes from Dubrovnik Old Town.

Extensive and thoughtful refurbishment has taken place in preparation for the 2018 holiday season, adding brand new facilities as well as renovating 308 bedrooms and other amenities.

The flagship addition is an outdoor infinity pool overlooking the Adriatic Sea, where guests can relax in style and enjoy uninterrupted views of the Elaphiti Islands – sure to be especially popular at sunset. The new pool adds a further option to other pools in the hotel, including a second infinity pool, and a heated indoor freshwater pool. The newly-redecorated Mediterraneo restaurant offers an array of authentic Croatian, Mediterranean and international cuisine prepared in open kitchens allowing guests to enjoy the theatre of cookery. With indoor and outdoor dining available on a spacious terrace, and lighter dining options also available at the Mezzino Snack Bar, guests can also take advantage of special offers for dining at sister hotels the Valamar Lacroma Dubrovnik and Valamar Dubrovnik President.

The Valamar Argosy's wellness centre has also been redeveloped, to include a new fitness and lounge area, providing two cool new relaxation zones. More traditional spa treatments are also on offer, including Finnish and Bio saunas and various massage and exfoliation options.

Awarded UNESCO World Heritage status in 1979, the Old City of Dubrovnik is just 15 minutes away. From walking tours to Segway tours, there are numerous ways to explore the City Walls for yet more stunning views, while the city is also home to the oldest pharmacy in Europe and a whole host of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque churches, monasteries, palaces and fountains.
