Edward brings more than 25 years of industry experience from his home country Ireland, United Kingdom and Asia. After graduating from Shannon Hotel School and the University of Buckingham, Edward accumulated experience in operations and sales and marketing from Forte Hotel Group, Le Meridien, InterContinental Group, GLH Hotels and Shangri-La. He has been General Manager to eight different properties prior to taking the helm at PARKROYAL Penang Resort. 

Edward is no stranger to Malaysia having been the General Manager of Thistle Johor Bahru and also managing Thistle Port Dickson Resort previously. He was most recently the General Manager of Hotel Jen Manila by Shangri-La for three years.
