Bloomington, MN – While The Big Game is happening in U.S. Bank Stadium, Mall of America® and Bloomington, Minnesota hotels and restaurants are benefitting from being ground zero for the Super Bowl LII teams, Media Center and Radio Row/Fan Gallery and the Great Warming House for fans from all over the United States and the World.
Both NFL teams, the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles, are staying in the adjacent MOA® hotels, the Radisson Blu Mall of America and the JW Marriott Minneapolis Mall of America. Mall of America is set to be the epicenter of Super Bowl week activities with the addition of being the Media hub and having 43 hotels and over 9300 rooms in Bloomington for fans, media and team families and friends.
“Mall of America is the heart of a lot of the activity that's going to be taking place around the Super Bowl,” said Jill Renslow, senior vp of business development at the mall, during a Kare 11 interview on February 19th.
“Right now in the space next to the north food court signs of all the tickets from past Super Bowls hang from the ceiling. The week of the game it will be home to what's known as “radio row”, hosting 150 media outlets broadcasting live. “The chance for fans to get up close and personal with your favorite broadcasters,” Renslow said. “They have a lot of special guests so there's going to be a lot of VIP sightings.”
Here is a list of unique things happening at Mall of America and within a one- mile radius:
