EVENT Hospitality & Entertainment Limited, today announced it has entered into an agreement to manage one of Melbourne's most historic hotels, The Victoria Hotel on Little Collins St, a Schwartz Family Company property currently branded as ibis Styles Melbourne, The Victoria Hotel. As of 1st February 2018, the hotel will be managed alongside EVENT's current stable of hotels and resorts across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom that includes the Rydges, QT and Atura brands.

“The Victoria Hotel has played a crucial role in Melbourne's tourism development over the past 130 years and its combination of prime city location and warm hospitality has made it one of the city's most popular hotels, particularly for visitors from country Victoria and NSW,” said Dr Jerry Schwartz. “We are excited to appoint EVENT to run this hotel given our long-standing and successful relationship with them across a number of other properties they manage for us.”
