LONDON, 06 December 2017 — Grecotel, Greece's leading luxury hotel and resort collection, has launched AgrecoFarms in the UK. This unique brand produces high-quality, organic food and body care products for Grecotel guests and visitors, using traditional farming methods in Crete. Now, these can finally be delivered in the UK. 

“Due to high demand from our guests, we are thrilled to launch our finest AgrecoFarms in the UK, just in time for Christmas,” said Ioannis Tsichlis, Marketing Director at Grecotel. “We wish to extend Grecotel's hospitality to guests even when they return home.”

AgrecoFarms products are available to purchase via its brand-new e-shop. The leading hoteliers have also hinted at the possibility of selling in retail shops around the UK soon.

The selection includes organic olives and olive oil, thyme and pine honey, sweet treats and desserts, herbal infusions and natural teas. Handmade beauty products, aromatherapy oils and Christmas gifts are also available for online shopping.

AgrecoFarms originates from Agreco Traditional Farm, a 40-hectare estate in the charming village of Adele, near Rethymno, Crete. The site recreates century-old farming methods, providing an insight into the island's organic production of simple and healthy food.

Founded almost 20 years ago by Nikos Daskalantonakis, Chairman of Grecotel, Agreco Traditional Farm is the only venue of its kind. Here, visitors can also experience the authentic Cretan lifestyle and engage in farming activities. Its fresh produce goes directly to all the hotelier's restaurants, while its organic body care products feature in all Grecotel properties.
