Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts Debuts in Shenyang

SHENYANG, CHINA – DECEMBER 4, 2017 – Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott International, Inc. today announced the opening of Le Méridien Shenyang, Heping, marking the first Le Méridien property in Northeast China. Through the Le Méridien brands 'Destination Unlocked' mission, and its distinct filters of discovery - coordinates, culture and cuisine, Le Méridien Shenyang, Heping is set to present unexpected and engaging experiences to creative-minded travelers.

New Height of Inspiration: Shenyang Unlocked
Shenyang offers a mix of timeless culture, intriguing history and local hospitality. Conveniently located in the Shenyang Hub, Le Méridien Shenyang, Heping affords easy access to both cultural and commercial discoveries. To expand Le Méridien & X+Q Art partnership, the Le Méridien Hub™ will also feature the 'Ai Mei Midsummer' artwork inspired by Shenyang, connecting hotel guests to the culture through the lens of art. The artwork is inspired by local dancing handkerchiefs of the Chinese folk art - Northeast Song and Dance Duet. For over three hundred years, the dance has symbolized the bold spirit and culture of the locals. The artwork pattern reinterpreted the handkerchief through abstract and modern techniques.
