Morukuru Beach Lodge, South Africa – Opening July 2018
Morukuru Beach Lodge is located in the breathtaking UNESCO De Hoop Nature Reserve, on the pristine Koppie Alleen coastline, just south of Swellendam on the Garden Route. The lodge will comprise five beautiful en-suite bedrooms, a restaurant and bar area, pool and hot tub, and roof terrace with views over the Indian Ocean. This new lodge building will be a replica of its sister property, Morukuru Ocean House, and follow the same sustainable principles; solar powered and off the grid.

The De Hoop Nature Reserve offers towering white sand dunes lapped by the Indian Ocean, limestone cliffs, rock pools and coastal fynbos. It is a wonderful place to see southern right whales. Other wildlife in the reserve includes dolphins, sharks and seals, as well as the bontebok and Cape mountain zebra. The reserve is also particularly known for its bird population.

Activities available at this stunning beach-front lodge include guided marine walks, fynbos walks, mountain biking, 4x4 nature drives, whale watching, sand boarding, volleyball, cricket, croquet, snorkelling and boat trips.

The Pangolin Khwai Camp, Botswana – Opening March 2018
Pangolin Photo Safaris has teamed up with Natural Selection to open the Pangolin Khwai Camp in the Khwai Private Reserve – a 200,000-hectare private concession bordering the Khwai River.

The camp will host a maximum of 12 guests in seven Meru style en-suite tents. Communal areas, planned with photographers in mind, feature a dedicated editing and post production area as well as large screens for presentations and workshops.

The camp will be hosted by a resident photographic guide with cameras available to clients travelling without their own photographic gear. Off-road special sightings, night drives and mokoro excursions will also be available. The 4x4s will be adapted for photographers with bean bag mounts and a maximum of four clients in each will allow good freedom of movement at a sighting.

Sossus Under Canvas, Neuhof Nature Reserve, Nambia – Opening April 2018
Located on the private 24,000 hectare Neuhof Nature Reserve in the Greater Sossusvlei-Namib landscape, the camp will be semi-permanent, seasonal and experiential. The reserve is home to some of the largest concentrations of wildlife in the area, including oryx, springbok, Harmann's mountain zebra, giraffe, leopard, cheetah and hyena. Plans to reintroduce the critically endangered black rhino are also underway.

Sossus Under Canvas will comprise eight tents, and will be booked on an exclusive use basis, open seasonally between April and November, offering a fantastic alternative to any traditional lodge in the Sossusvlei area. It is exclusivity is beyond compare.

Activities available include visits to the Sossusvlei dunes with a private guide, and general exploration of the private Neuhof Nature Reserve, including nature walks and drives, swimming in desert pools, star gazing, a Stella Escape (sleep out), plateau visits, hot air ballooning and scenic helicopter flights.

Four Seasons Resort Seychelles – Opening March 2018
After undergoing extensive renovations, the existing property will re-open in March 2018 as Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island.

Kuthengo Camp, Liwonde National Park, Malawi – Opening April 2018
Nestled among Fever Trees and Baobabs, the Robin Pope Safaris' new Kuthengo Camp is set in the Liwonde National Park in southern Malawi, alongside the Shire River and Lake Malombe. Serra Cafema Camp, Hartmann's Valley, Namibia – Opening June 2018
Wilderness Safaris is rebuilding its iconic Serra Cafema camp, overlooking the Kunene River in the Hartmann Valley, north-west Namibia.

With eight riverside villas, all on elevated decks, the new camp will maintain the same footprint on its current island location nestled amongst shady albida trees.
