AMResorts is pleased to announce the appointment of Amy Drummond and Teri Jones to the Business Development Team.

Amy will be responsible for business development in Scotland and the North of the Lake District, whereas Teri will cover the South West of England including Bristol, Exeter and Southampton. Both Executives will represent AMResorts at agent event and conferences as well as accompanying agents on a number of familiarisation trips to Mexico, Dominican Republic and Jamaica throughout the year.

With over seventeen years' experience in the travel industry, Amy has a wealth of experience in business development and joins from previous roles at Funway Holidays and Barrhead Travel. She will continue to build relationships with the Scottish based agents in her new remit, representing AMResorts.

Amy Drummond, Business Development Executive said: “I am excited to start my next venture with AMResorts. Many agents will know me from my time with Funway Holidays and Barrhead Travel. I am looking forward to getting out and about, working with the Business Development Team to increase agents' knowledge of AMResorts.”

Teri, who joined the team in August from Virgin Holidays, has over ten years' experience in retail. The role will extend the reach of the team, training and attending agent events in the South West region.

Teri Jones, Business Development Executive said: “AMResorts had a successful year last year opening ten new resorts, there are exciting times ahead and I am delighted to be a part of it. I have met many agents in the South West already however I am looking forward to all the training and events ahead.”

Amy and Teri will report in to Sarah Johnson, Business Development Manager and will join two other Business Development Executives; Kirsty Lilley who covers the Midlands and Kandy Nordstrand who looks after the North of England up to Scotland.
