PADDINGTON 2 at The View from The Shard this October half-term
KIDS GO FREE BETWEEN 21ST TO 29TH OCTOBER
London, October 4th 2017: The View from The Shard is teaming up with everyone's favourite bear and his new film PADDINGTON 2 (in cinemas November 10) this October half term by offering two free child tickets for every adult ticket sold, as the popular Kids Go Free offer returns. Families can expect treats inspired by the Peruvian bear's favourite preserve, marmalade, including a delicious Gluten Free orange and polenta cake and a marmalade sandwich-inspired mocktail. Children can also take part in a Paddington-inspired treasure hunt, searching for missing marmalade sandwiches and some of London's most iconic landmarks which feature in the new film, and be in with a chance to win a family ticket to the PADDINGTON 2 World Premiere on November 5th via the Activity Sheet!
On reaching the viewing platform, guests will also be welcomed by a very special Paddington statue from the 2014 Paddington trail, which actor Hugh Bonneville designed himself.
Kids can also try 'The Slide' in an adrenaline-fuelled 360-degree virtual reality experience that swoops and slides through the city's skyline. The hair-raising journey will take them on an extreme multi-sensory journey where The Shard becomes a helter-skelter! In addition to The Slide, brave youngsters can also test their nerve and face their fear of heights on Vertigo. This virtual adventure sees the building fall away, leaving you suspended in the air, walking across The Shard's early infrastructure and balancing on scaffolding of the stripped back construction of Western Europe's tallest building.
Parents can entertain themselves with a tipple from London's highest champagne bar as the sun sets over the city's skyline 800ft above the capital at London's highest vantage point, with views of up to 40 miles, there is no better way to entertain the kids this half term!
