Aequor Spa, the luxury spa and wellness centre of Tenerife's five-star Hotel Jardines de Nivaria, has recently re-opened its doors after a thorough fine-tuning of its facilities – which are now more relaxing and inviting than ever. Offering an all-new thermal circuit with anti-splash water jets, six massage booths and over 50 treatments to choose from, Aequor Spa is back to give guests the ultimate pampering experience during their luxury Tenerife getaway.

With a fresher feel and more modern look, designed by architecture firm ImpulsARQ, Aequor Spa is split into two different spaces: a thermal circuit and a relaxation area on the ground floor and the treatment booths and solarium on the upper level. Both floors take advantage of the island's natural light, water and stones, which are the three main features of Aequor Spa.

Featuring a soundproof ceiling inspired by the Painted Cave of Gáldar (Gran Canaria), the intimate thermal circuit covers an area of 500 square metres and boasts a modern water circuit with underwater jets which do not splash and disturb other guests, a Turkish bath and a sauna. The adjacent relaxation area has dimming lights and comfortable hammocks for guests to unwind after the water circuit.

The spa's upper floor comprises a solarium and six treatment and massage booths – one double and five single – with over 50 different treatments to choose from. These range from the popular massage with intense moisturising Canarian aloe vera to seasonal therapies such as the “thalasso firming facial and corporal treatment” (summer) and the “coca nutritive moisturising treatment” (winter). Also, some of these therapies can take place outdoors, surrounded by palm trees, for guests to make the most of Tenerife's spring-like weather. A hair salon adds to the spa's new offering.

Aequor Spa is located within 5* Hotel Jardines de Nivaria, the flagship property of award-winning group Adrián Hoteles.
