A TASTE OF TURKEY AT LONDON'S HIPPEST FOOD FESTIVAL
LONDON (13 June 2017) -- Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism is set to exhibit at one the hippest foodie festivals in London, Taste of London. The flagship event kicks off in Central London, at Regent's Park from 14 to 18 June paying homage to best restaurants, leading chefs and all the glorious food and drinks to taste, with chefs showcasing their creative talent through live demonstrations.
Turkish food is recognised as a favourite amongst the top cuisines in the world. The seasons and regions play a significant part in food specialities. Turkey welcomes and is home to seven climates, a history dating back thousands of years with much food variety and delights to cater for all palates.
The Turkish Ministry of Tourism's UK team are excited to partner at Taste of London with Turkish culinary chefs such as Huseyin Ozer of Sofra Restaurants, Selin Kiazim of Oklava, Ozlem Warren of Ozlem's Turkish Table, Servet Kilic of OTTO Mediterranean, Serhat Onal of Kibele bringing their take on Turkish food trends.
Celebrate Turkish cooking with Chef Hus Vedat of Yosma London and British Chef, Ed Baines cooking up a feast of Turkish Manti on Friday 16 June at the Taste Theatre at 15:00.
Join us also for a Press event on Friday, 16 June at 19:00 for canapés and refreshing pomegranate mocktails at the Turkey Home tent.
Join the Turkish tent to enjoy fresh and frothy Turkish coffees from Kahve Dunyasi, and Turkey's all round favourite simit from Simit Sarayi and let yourself be drawn to the famous Turkish hospitality.
Taste of London
The five day festival is an event showcasing the capital's best restaurants, current food and drink trends and top brands. The flagship event at London's most famous park, Regent's Park hosts 55,000 food lovers. Top chefs will showcase signature dishes, an opportunity to see at first hand the creativity which goes into the mouth-watering delights.
