Chobe National Park, Botswana – Chobe Game Lodge announced the launch of their new Chobe Game Lodge brand on Thursday 2nd March 2017. 

The rebrand includes a modernised logo which will be accompanied by a new website in April 2017. The announcement ties in with the start of ITB 2017 (the world's largest travel trade show) hosted by Botswana - the first ever Southern Africa partner country. 

Along with the rebrand, Chobe Game Lodge is rolling out a completely new look & feel to their in-lodge marketing material. Hand carved in-room information folders will take guests on a journey of the history of the lodge – from the early days in the 1970's to the award winning ecotourism initiatives of today. Room key cards will carry pockets of information about the guest's safari activities and menus will be beautifully printed on specially sourced recycled paper.

“Every interaction with the Chobe Game Lodge brand has been carefully designed and planned, to ensure all travellers know, from the moment they arrive, they are staying at the most premier property in the region. From the uniquely designed handmade arrivals board at the airport, to the new farewell cards in the rooms. Our in-lodge branding material will reflect our guest's memorable safari experiences in Chobe along with the warm and genuine hospitality of Chobe Game Lodge.”   

The new Chobe Game Lodge logo takes inspiration from the elements that make this property unique. Being the home of Africa's highest concentration of elephant, the gentle giant forms the centre of the logo. Established in 1973 recognises the property as the first 5-star lodge of its kind in Botswana. The Chobe River, a fundamental part of the Chobe Game Lodge experience, features prominently in the logo highlighting the properties unique location inside the Chobe National Park. Chobe Game Lodge stated that subtle Moorish touches will be evident throughout the new branding. This compliments the Arabic inspired physical structure and the most recent stunning interior décor.   

New marketing material will also be launched in conjunction with the branding to help the travel trade share the beauty of the property with prospective travellers. A new website, room layout illustrations, new factsheets and a range of video material will roll out during 2017.
