Unrelenting heavy rain and poor slope conditions caused an enormous landslide in Songan Village, in the north-east of Bali, Indonesia. Seven people were killed and four houses buried when the landslide hit at around 11 pm local time on Thursday, 9th February 2017.
We at Elite Havens believe a little help goes a long way. Elite Havens' committee members contributed donations to help those affected by the disaster. On Wednesday, 15th February 2017, Elite Havens committee members headed to Kintamani to submit the collected donations. Since the access to Songan Village was limited, they visited the district office at Kintamani.
Various forms of donations included cash, sacks of rice, boxes of mineral water, instant noodles, clothes, groceries and medicines.
