Leading UK holiday park operator, Haven, is excited to announce that five of their coastal holiday parks will be receiving a brand new entertainment offering from March 2017. A theatre company style entertainment will lead a new selection of interactive, unique and exciting shows to guests.

The Theatre Company concept was first introduced in early 2016 at Haven's newest holiday park, Thornwick Bay, in Flamborough. Throughout the year the Thornwick Theatre Company, formed of specialist dancers, vocalists and event hosts, performed new and exclusive shows to over 40,000 captivated guests.

"After completing an exciting year introducing a new style of family entertainment at Thornwick Bay, we are ready to take the innovative Theatre Company product to more stages in 2017,” says Steve Donnelly, Head of Entertainment at Haven.  “I'm delighted we are the first leisure business in the holiday sector to lead the way on enhancing our entertainment experience for the whole family.” 

Haven's Theatre Company cast is formed of handpicked performers who have come from professional training at some of the best theatre schools, including impressive work credits in theatre, luxury hotels and cruise.

“The cast will perform an exclusive selection of shows, which are unique to the selected parks, including the rock spectacular 'Evolution Rock' and pop tribute show 'MJ Legend'. These shows incorporate impressive screen technology to bring the shows alive,” says Steve Donnelly.  “We have adopted green screen media techniques to enhance the shows visual impact.  All productions are fast moving with musical arrangements specially arranged and produced.”

The Theatre Company cast won't just be found on the stage, holidaymakers should expect Covent Garden style pop ups, with events such as 'Seaside Streetside' taking place throughout the day at various locations across the five holiday parks.

The Theatre Company entertainment offering will be arriving at Devon Cliffs Holiday Park in Devon, Craig Tara Holiday Park in Ayr, Scotland, Hafan y Môr Holiday Park in North Wales, Primrose Valley Holiday Park in Yorkshire and Rockley Park Holiday Park in Dorset in March 2017.

Guests will get to find out what led them to a life on the stage, see them perform a selection of their favourite songs and ask as many questions as you want – you can even have your photo taken with them!
• Evolution Rock - The Theatre Company performers put on a rock 'n' roll show you won't forget! With classic hits both old and new, this incredible show will tap into your inner rock god and get the family having loads of fun rocking out an array of rock classics.
• The Great British Summertime - It's a celebration of the music of Great Britain and everybody's welcome to the party.  Join the Theatre Company performers as they put on a fantastic show featuring all the best Great British hits.
• MJ Legend - The talented Theatre Company performers lead a celebration of the life and music of one of pop's greatest superstars, Michael Jackson. From the earliest hits of the Jackson 5 through to Michael's later successes with songs such as Thriller and Beat It, guests will be on their feet and moon walking in the aisles before they know it.
