NAJ's eTourism Summit Introduces International Digital Day in Conjunction with RTO Summit in Orlando

eTourism Summit

Sausalito, Calif. -- Like the circus, NAJ's RTO Summit rolls into town once a year. Orlando is high on the list of cities with the largest concentration of receptive tour operators, and a hot spot for conducting business with those serving international inbound traffic, especially from Latin America and Europe.

NAJ Events and Media has announced a new International Digital Day -- not found elsewhere -- as part of the two-day agenda at RTO Summit Orlando on Nov. 15-16, 2016. With a focus on the latest digital tools to access new media in key overseas markets, plus tips for online marketing, building website and social media traffic, and navigating the evolving media landscape, RTO Summit Orlando solves five problems in one:

1. To supplement the popular, personalized one-on-one RTO marketplace, a new program of seminars and interactive educational sessions is designed to equip tourism sales pros with the digital skills that today's marketing efforts require. This means a full day of industry-focused training from digital agencies to supplement the successful relationship marketing that is the hallmark of RTO Summits.   See the program http://www.rtosummit.com/rto-summit-mice/rto-summit-orlando-agenda/

2. Because NAJ Events and Media has produced eTourism Summit since 2000,  RTO Summit's parent company has over 17 years of digital contacts from which to draw expertise that can help expand your marketing internationally.

3. Orlando is now headquarters for over 40 receptive tour operators servicing US-inbound groups and individuals for leisure, meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions. At RTO Summit Orlando, US destinations, attractions and sightseeing companies can truly market to the world without incurring the high cost of overseas sales missions.

4. Why now? “According to attendees at the recent NAJ Salon in Orlando, Brazilian tourism to the U.S. has finally hit bottom,” says Jake Steinman, founder of NAJ Events and Media. “The prohibitive 33 percent surcharge levied on credit card charges by Brazilians has now been rolled back to a more manageable six percent. While it may be difficult to justify budgets for travel to Brazil and other long haul countries, now is the time to forge solid relationships with the receptive operators who are the gatekeepers and financial intermediaries...while they are more open to new ideas and collaboration.”

5. Save time and money. Sales missions to Orlando, New York and Los Angeles, the three cities where 95 percent of all receptive operators are based, can be effective. However, this is a labor intensive solution. Secondly, meetings at IPW are difficult, as those attending prioritize meetings with overseas tour operators. The RTO Summits in Orlando, New York and Los Angeles are the best venues to meet dozens of operators under one roof, all of whom schedule the summit in their calendars each year.
