For September 2016: Ever wondered how Jack the Ripper got away with his heinous crimes back in the 1880s? Fancy yourself as CSI geek? Find out how modern day forensics could have shed more light on the identity of one of the world's most shady serial killers at the London Dungeon's exclusive 'Uncloaking the Ripper' evening events, in partnership with the experts at Forensic Outreach.
Strictly for adults only, guests will enjoy a gin cocktail included on arrival and then be whisked into the depths of the London Dungeon in the historic County Hall building on the South Bank (just down from the London Eye). Guided by a colourful array of characters and specialists from Forensic Outreach there are plenty of thrills and scares, with surprises around every corner and the opportunity to gain insight into the infamous Ripper murders through science and forensics.
Learn what a dead body can tell you at autopsy and examine trace evidence to discover what Jack might have left behind as you gather evidence at the scene of the crime in Mitre Square whilst learning the crime scene procedure. An intriguing understanding into serial killer psychology will leave you with an idea of what may have driven Jack the Ripper to commit these terrible crimes, and if you have any burning questions these will be answered as you relax at your final stop - the authentic Victorian-themed London Dungeon Tavern.
