Sydney's 'hotel for the arts' Sofitel Sydney Wentworth is offering guests an art-inspired high tea from 16th July 2016 to 9th October 2016 to celebrate the Art Gallery of New South Wales' (AGNSW) Archibald Prize 2016. To help showcase Australia's favourite art prize, Sofitel Sydney Wentworth's Executive Chef Boris Cuzon has designed an indulgent High Tea, creatively served on a gold, bevelled picture frame in theme with the luxury High Tea experience.

The interpretative collection of food-art delicacies puts fun and imagination back into high tea, with  fine art delectables including lemon meringue tartlets, mango éclair, vanilla bean panna cotta and homemade scones.

The Archibald Prize for portraiture is one of Australia's oldest and most talked about art awards. Awarded to the best portrait painting, it's a who's who of Australian culture – from politicians to celebrities, sporting heroes to artists.
